SOUVENIR CARDS

Souvenir cards – format A4, cardboard.
All the requisites of the Kantele House are given on the reverse side of cards: postal mail, telephone numbers, E-mail and http:/ (on a red card – in English, on a blue card – in Russian).

On the red card the fragment of Veps adornment is used in the design of a hem of a skirt. On the blue card there is a photo of the artist T. Papulova in the costume of the Finnish dance “Letka-Jenka”.

The edition of these cards as well as posters by the same mock-ups has become the first project of the Advertising and publishing department of the Kantele House. In April 2005 the concourse between students of Universities and secondary special schools was announced. The participants had to create a mock-up of the advertising poster of the Kantele ensemble. The prize was a money reward and as addition –printing cards and posters by the mock-ups of winners in prospective.
The Concourse has been won by a 4th-year student of the Petrozavodsk State University - Vladimir Pastuchov (the red mock-up) and a 4th-year student of the Karelian Pedagogical Institute - Ksenia Shironina (the blue mock-up).
The issue of the cards was made with the help of the sponsor funds of JSC “Karelenergo”. Publishers – Scandinavia.
